With the area of 2500m2, this summer fair has four activities: exhibition, negotiation conference, seminar and visiting. Total 85 foreign educational institutions have participated such as UK, USA, Canada, France, New Zealand, Singapore, Japan, Denmark, Poland, Cyprus, Australia, and Ireland. Among participated institutions, many famous universities are included too, like , University of Massachusetts Boston; Florida Memorial University; Academy of Art University; University of the Arts London; Queen’s University; Université Paris-Sud 11and so on.
The features of summer CQIE2009 are:
1、Foreign Embassies and Consulates participation and introduction the latest and authoritative information on studying abroad.
On this exhibition, Cultural and Education Section of the British Embassy and Consulate General in China, CONSULAT GENERAL DE FRANCE A CHENGDU – CAMPUSFRANCE, Commercial Section, Irish Embassy and Royal Danish Consulate in Chongqing have all participated. and officials provide the latest and the most authoritative information on studying abroad and visa directly .
2、Education Group from UK,USA, Canada participate CQIE2009
8 well-known universities from USA participate CQIE. Compared with former CQIE, this participating universities from USA can be regarded the best one both in quantity and quality including the Hult International Business School, ranked 31st best in international business school, Academy of Art University, the largest private accredited art and design school in the United States. Life University USA ，ranked number 1 in USA for training of Chiropractic Doctors。 Besides, Cultural and Education Section of the British Embassy and Consulate General in China brings UK education group to participate CQIE2009,including The University of Birmingham, Swansea University, UK , University of the Arts London , Boston College (UK) and Bellerbys College.
3、10 seminars introduce the latest education situation
Total 10 seminars are held. Official Organizations hold seminars to introduce the educational features of its country.such as CSCSE – Nuffic Neso China, Section of the British Embassy and Consulate General in China, Consulat General De France A Chengdu-Campusfrance. And famous universities like Florida Memorial University and Truman State University hold seminars to introduce their majors and application procedures directly.
4、Many emerging countries participate CQIE at first time.
On this summer CQIE2009, universities from Cyprus and Ireland participated at first time. As member of EU，Cyprus has been regarded as an important bridge to enter developed country like England and America by its good social environment and geographical location . Besides, The European University Cyprus and Frederick University participate QIE2009.As the oldest college in Cyprus the accreditation of European University Cyprus degrees, high calibre faculty and recognition by European and American Universities concluded that European University Cyprus is the University with the highest standard of education in Cyprus.
5、by Sino-foreign Cooperation in Running Schools Projects, students can learn international education at home
Many universities and institutions like College of Foreign Languages, Chongqing University, SISU Overseas Educational Consultancy, School of Foreign Languages, Southwest Jiaotong University and General Study Program (Canadian Curricula)of Southwest Jiaotong University introduce Sino-foreign cooperation in running schools projects such as Sino-Canada,Sino-US,Sino-British,Sino- French and so on. Meanwhile, As Sino-foreign joint schools, Chongqing Maple Leaf International School and Shenzhen/Beijing Concord College of Sino-Canada will present their own features and courses Anyway, these new education modes will enable students to learn international education at home.
